Contryside wedding

20 09 2011

Shooting a wedding is a very big responsibility to me and before a friend asked me to shoot hers, I had declined

There’s a change you could ruin the best day of a brides life

My friend assured me, their expectations were not high and they would be happy with any pictures I would take

So this saturday I tried out as a weddingphotographer

And there has been no threats so far :)

London, staying by Hyde Park

4 07 2011

This weekend I went on a short trip to London, staying at a hotel by Hyde Park. The area is so beautiful and a place to enjoy nature in the mid of a big city.

These are from Kensington Park

The Gerkin wich I didn’t get any closer to than this

And a few photos from up high,

no higher than that

The rest of my photos are street photography and can be seen in my facebook album

Inside the Tierpitz bunker

24 04 2011

just arrived home from a couple of days being spoiled by my mother.

The weather this easter has been the best in 20 years and my mother and I went out to the beach (Blåvand) close to my home town Varde.

First we read our books and shook our heads of the people bathing in the sea. They’re not well, not at all. The water is still freezing cold. After a visit to the beach we drove to a bunker from world war II, called the Tierpitz. It has been made in to a museum where you can see a little glimpse into how it was on the inside.

Here’s a little slideshow from inside and the surroundings. It’s my mother on one of the pictures reading some of the stories from the war. And the size of the wrench, remember that if you complain about how havy your worktools are ;-)

And now I of to drink coffee at Barasso

Practice is key if you want to improve and I have som ideas I want to shoot as a fashion shoot, which includes DOF, so I went out with my 70 – 200mm F4.0 (wuhuu I’m getting the 70 – 200mm F2.8 at the end of the month)

ISO 640, 200mm, F4.5, 1/250

Practice is fun

The running man

3 03 2011

Inspirations can appear in the strangest ways.

Last night my good friend and fellow photographer Flemming and I went out street shooting.

However, it seemed the weather was to cold and the streets were empty. So we toke inspiration from an old film. The running man

The different situations were so funny and people passing us stopped to look at the installation, which made us laugh even more, making it a bit difficult to get a decent shot

We hope to inspire you to have fun with your photography

And Flemming, let’s do this again soon. You’re too funny

Christmas roadtrip home

27 12 2010

Christmas has passed and after a few but very loving days with my family, it was time to go home.

I had a ride with a fellow photographer friend and while he drove, I shot the contry at 110 km/h. We had 297 km to conquer before I was home.

After 15 km it didn’t look to good. The snow was coming down heavy

Even the birds toke flight

I have a thing for electicity pylons, so ofcourse they are also represented here

At last we can see Storebælt bridge (bridge between Fyn and Sjaelland). We have passed the half way mark

Nearly across we pass an old light tower. I didn’t get the light, and we were going by to fast for me to get another shot

I love driving under the Pylons. But the christmas tree on top, I just don’t get

After crossing Storebælt, Thomas drove down to the base of the bridge and we had a 10 min break to take som pics. It was freezing, windy and getting very dark.

After the break it was to dark to take any photos at high speed and we really just wanted to get home as fast as posible.

Merry christmas and a happy new year to all of you

King Winter has a grib on Copenhagen

5 12 2010

Sooo there has been a lot happening since my last post and I haven’t been out shooting with out a plan for a long time. I’m loving my new job and I’m having loads of new adventures with my modelphotograhy.

Yesterday we had the Help Portrait event and I think we made a lot of people happy. We have worked really hard to get the event as close to perfect as we could and it has been a pleasure to work with some amazing people giving their time and experience.

And today was a day just for me and we had the most beautiful snow falling from the sky, so I jumped in some warm clothes, grabbed my camera and went out on a two hour walk by the beach, and it was so beautiful by the water, and there was still untouch snow. I loved the subtle colours the day presented, and enjoyed my walk with my camera.

Merry christmas to you all

A place for taggers, shooters and gamers

10 10 2010

I am so sorry that I have neglected the blog for the longest time and I don’t have an excuse. The time has been spent with my new job, and training my fashion photography which you can see at Rihass.dk

But seeing as this might be the last day with good weather I had to get out of the door. So riding my bike (as in bicycle) I went down past a lot where there use to be a building where taggers made beautiful grafitti, shooters shot girls on film and gamers were playing paintball and being attentive to the others. And unfortunately others were recking the place.. Ahh those were the days…. And riding another 50m unfolded yet another empty building with the same features :-)

Not really ready for winter, the summer was to short. But looking forward to the crispness of light that winter brings

A sister bugging her brother

18 09 2010

My littlebrother came to Copenhagen on a visit yesterday, and as I don’t have any recent pictures of him, I had a plan.

But like me, he likes being behind of the camera much more than the infront, and I new it wouldn’t be easy, so I had to get him when he was sitting in one place for a while. Enter brunch :-)

We had brunch at Cafe Phenix, Vesterbrogade 4, Copenhagen, which has the best service and brunch buffet for only 139,-DKK

Pics are taken with my 50D, 17 – 55mm F2.8 (at 55mm, F4, iso250 1/50) and I have use my Greenish preset

What’re doing!!!!

I’m just ignoring you then

Get it overwith allready

I love my brother, he’s the best, most clever, kindest person I know
